How I May Be Able To Help You
I assume you are reaching out because you need some help managing either your household spending or your company spending.
What I do is get you familiar and working with a system that swiftly gathers your spending and income data from its various sources (bank and card transactions) and presents you with a certain type of summarized report which can be expanded where you would like to see more information. This helps you become keenly aware of your spending history up to the end of the previous day.
The skills you need to manage the updating of this reporting are very basic computer skills and extremely basic Microsoft Excel skills. It is my job to make sure you are comfortable with using the reporting system.
Examples of these skills are knowing how to go online to your bank account and navigate one or two clicks to the recent transactions display, then clicking on the Excel icon which puts an Excel file with your recent transactions into your download folder. In Windows operating systems one accesses their download folder using the CTRL + J command. Then you copy that Excel file and paste it into a special folder on your pc that I will help you set up. Setting up these folders is very easy.
There are 2 more skills. One is navigating tables in Excel, which is extremely easy. The second is typing a category name into cell or selecting the name from a dropdown list.
I also help you define a category list that best corresponds to your understanding of your different types of spending. Often with companies, it corresponds to the tracking of amounts that your Accountant looks to differentiate and identify.
